Who is responsible

This website is the personal portfolio of Vladimir Kruglov, an independent product designer. I am the person responsible for any personal data you share here. For any question about your data, write to privacy@vkrdesign.com.

What I collect

I only collect what you send me yourself through the contact form:

  • your name and email address;
  • company or product name, if you add it;
  • the type of project and budget range, if you choose them;
  • your message.

I do not ask for, and please do not send, sensitive information such as health data, documents or payment details.

Why I use it

Only to read your request, reply to you and discuss a possible project. I do not send newsletters, I do not sell or share your data for marketing, and I do not use it for automated decision-making.

The legal basis is your request itself: you contact me and I need your details to answer (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). By sending the form you also agree to this processing; you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Where it goes and how long I keep it

  • Your request is stored on the server that hosts this website and is forwarded to my mailbox.
  • My email is provided by Google (Gmail), so the copy of your message in my mailbox is stored on Google's servers, which may be located outside your country.
  • I keep requests for as long as we are in conversation and for up to 12 months after the last message, then delete them. If we start working together, the correspondence is kept for as long as the project and legal obligations require.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. It only stores a few small technical settings in your browser:

  • lang: the language you selected;
  • theme: light or dark mode;
  • cookies-ok: that you have closed the cookie notice.

None of them identify you. You can delete them in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.

Statistics and technical data

  • I count page views without cookies and without storing IP addresses: only the number of visits per page and the domain of the site you came from. These totals are deleted after 120 days.
  • To protect the contact form and the site from spam and attacks, your IP address is briefly held in the server's memory (up to one hour) and is not written to any database.
  • The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security purposes for a short period.
  • Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when the page opens.

Your rights

You can at any time:

  • ask what data I hold about you and get a copy;
  • ask me to correct it;
  • ask me to delete it;
  • withdraw your consent to processing;
  • object to the processing or ask me to restrict it.

Write to privacy@vkrdesign.com and I will reply within 30 days. If you think I have handled your data unlawfully, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Security

The site works over HTTPS, the admin area is protected with a password and two-factor authentication, and access to your requests is limited to me.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
